Porn should never be reviewed. The fact that anybody filming anybody doing anything does not make the filmee a “star” or the filmer a cinematographer. By analogy, spilling a bucket of paint doesn’t make you an artist. Most all rap music is another analogy.

I love all of your articles, I stumbled on your site an hour ago and have been reading ever since. This is the only article that I disagree with, and only because it’s so much a matter of opinion. I for one, love horror movies and would pick one of those first, simply because they’re so much fun to me. However, I have friends that can’t stand horror movies and would go more for a comedy. I even have friends who think that the perfect date is a movie like Happy Gilmore because it’s fun. It totally depends on your opinion and how you react to different movies and how your date reacts to different movies.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a fantastic article!

This also applies to dog owners. I’m not sure why people of especially big dogs think I’m okay with their pooch jumping up on me. “Oh, don’t worry, he’s friendly” they’ll often say, completely oblivious to the 3 lbs of mud and slobber their canine friend has just left all over me.

You guys forgot the plane rides. I had a very bad experience once where 7 babies of different families came on board with me on a 4 hour flight…. most of them cried throughout the flight making it hell… i had to blast my music on loud to hide their screams of joy.

Some years ago, I was eating in a restaurant in Phoenix, AZ where I lived. There was a couple there with a couple of “rambunctious” children. This was a nice place that was supposed to be one where you could enjoy a good meal and quiet conversation. But with two children running between tables, screaming and squealing, that was impossible.

First, I complained to the server who said the “was nothing we can do” and then I asked for the manager who said essentially the same thing.

Finally, I went over to the table where the parents were seated and offered to pay for their meal. Surprised, they said they appreciated that, but why? I told them I would pay on the condition that they left immediately and took their undisciplined children with them.

They were very offended of course. They insisted I “must never have had children”. I informed them I had two but had taught them at a very early age what was acceptable conduct in public and what was not. Maybe they should learn that themselves before they attempted to teach their children. They angrily left without even stopping at the cashier. I returned to my table amid applause from several of the other customers. Management never charged me for the other meals, either.
