Just when you thought there was no possible way to follow up D in a B, Samberg and Timberlake do it again with ‘Motherlover.’
This time they bring Susan Sarandon and Patricia Clarkson along for the ride. It’s nice to finally have found something sweet and thoughtful to post for Mother’s Day.

Another classic courtesy of Samberg and Timberlake.
The sad thing is that when my wife and I were watching Timberlake on SNL, we realized that he is better than pretty much everyone in their cast (with the possible exception of Fred Armisen and Bill Hader).

That’s definitely fair to say — Samberg’s Digital Shorts are the heart and soul of SNL as it currently exists. Bill Hader does bring a lot to the sketches, but I’m often left wanting/expecting more from the show.
